This is Nerdy Nour again, reporting for blog duty!
Since this blog is meant to be both, personal and educational, I decided that this week ,I would take you guys and delve into whats been going on with me for 15 days now..
I have been stuck in Cairo, unable to travel back to my Dahab because I have no papers proving that I am who I say I am.
Let me explain; In Egypt, much like any other country, citizens over 16 are required to carry ID cards wherever they go (yes logical, I know). Here is where I shine; mine expired..February of 2017. Also, so did my passport (I don’t keep up with this stuff, okay? I’m sorry, I learned my lesson).
Fast forward to today, 15th day in Cairo waiting on my renewed card and passport to be done, the only thing keeping me sane is working on my presentations for the Live-aboard. If you guys follow Mirage Divers on Facebook, you would know that we’re offering a live-aboard safari from the 27th of March till the 2nd of April . Yours truly is the biologist on board. So, my job is to give small, informal but very informative presentations about the marine life we’re expected to encounter which is mostly sharks! I know, interesting stuff!
Go ahead and check out the other live-aboards we offer, you wont regret it and I will hopefully write you again in dahab after I have gathered up a bunch of interesting facts that tickle your nerdy selves!
